The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Given Imaging, Inc. to purchase of the following: " 1each of MSE-3888-Z ManoScan System, EM Z, " 1 each of MSE-3892-3D ManoScan System, ARM 3D, WS Upgrade, " 1 each of 400100066 AccuView pH-Z SW Kit, " 3 each of FGS-0450 Bravo® pH recorder, " 1 each of 400100075 New Bravo pH Accessory Kit, " 1 each of FGS-0312 Bravo® pH capsule delivery dev, 5-pk. These items are being purchased for the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center (VAMC) Cleveland, Ohio. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334510 - Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing. The Government believes that Given Imaging, Inc. is the only source or vendor that can provide the requested items. Therefore, the Government intends to proceed with a sole source for the required items. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 - only one responsible source and no other vendor will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes or information. No solicitation document is available; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contract Specialist on or before the closing date, 05/27/2016. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent via email to [email protected].
