The National Naval Medical Center, Acquisition Management Dept., Bethesda, MD on behalf of the Cardiac Cath Lab intends to award a Sole Source procurement to Guidant Corporation for Mini-Vision Stents and Voyage PTCA Balloons (various sizes and quantities). Must be FDA approved for stenting discrete De Novo, Stenotic Lesions in native coronary arteries. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate w/only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy ageny requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive bids.
