Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma WA. Intends to award a firm fixed price contract to Gaumard Scientific Company, Inc. for Maternal & Neonatal Birthing Simulators for health care education at Madigan Army Medical Center Anderson Simulation Center. The proposed contract action is for supplies, which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This n otice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However all information received after the publication of this notice will be considered by the Goverment. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon respon ses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued. See Note 22.
