Project 516-08-604Replace Nurse Call System Building 100 Sources Sought The Department of Veterans Affairs Bay Pines Veterans Healthcare System, located in Bay Pines, Florida, is seeking sources to provide for the turn key replacement of an existing DUKANE Nurse Call system on Wards 3C, 4A, 5A, and 5B with a RAMAX NURSECOM Plus Nurse Call system or equivalent. Requirement includes all peripheral devices including pillow speakers and dome lights. Patient stations must be interchangeable with those already upgraded in buildings 100, 71, and 101. Currently, the Executone CARECOM Plus system is used in buildings 71 and 101. The RAMAX NURSECOM Plus Nurse Call system is used in building 100. The new device will replace an existing device while maintaining all existing functions. Replacement consists of dual patient stations with entertainment blocks and two-way intercom, single patient systems with entertainment blocks and two-way intercom, emergency stations, Nurse control stations, Nurse follower stations, central equipment cabinets, and all associated peripheral devices, cabling, conduit, back boxes, cover plates, and other components necessary to complete equipment installation. Work will be performed in active patient wards and will require operating parallel systems, new and old, until the new system is installed and operational in all rooms. When the new system is fully operational, the old system must be removed and delivered to the Government for disposal. In addition, training must be provided on the operation of the new system.
