Page 1 of 3 This proposed contract action is for a firm fixed-price order from the VA National Acquisition Center (NAC) contract V797P-2065D with Olympus America, Inc., for the purchase of various scopes and related equipment. The Government intends to award this requirement as a sole source to Olympus America, Inc. based on the reason that only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies and services ordered are unique or highly specialized. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency if received by 11:00am EST, February 7, 2018 via the POC email below. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. A determination by the Government to not compete this contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
