The VA Central California Health Care System (VAPAHCS) Palo Alto intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Alliant Healthcare Products. The proposed contract action is for a Visera Elite Video System and Visera Elite Xenon Light Source. The requested video system and light source are proprietary, from the manufacturer Olympus. This action is in accordance with FAR 13.601-1; Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no competitive solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements or provide an equal product may give written notification to the contract specialist for consideration. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed above for the requested products. Responses are due by August 28, 2019 at 8:00 AM PST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
