The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, San Antonio, TX, intends to issue a sole source Federal Supply Schedule Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Alliant Healthcare Products located at 333 Bridge St., NW Suite 125, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. Alliant shall provide all Olympus equipment and replacement parts under FSS catalog V797D-50441. The BPA will streamline the VA acquisition process for only purchasing of new Olympus medical equipment, replacement parts, and services for Veterans Integrated Service Network 17. No leases will be included under this BPA. VA intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405-6 (a)(1)(i)(B). The VA anticipates issuing the BPA on or near March 9, 2018. The period of performance will be from March 12, 2018 through March 11, 2019, with 4 12-month option periods. All facilities throughout VISN 17 will be capable of ordering against the BPA within each of the following networks: Amarillo VA Health Care System (Amarillo, TX) Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (Temple, TX) El Paso VA Health Care System (El Paso, TX) South Texas Veterans Health Care System (San Antonio, TX) VA North Texas Health Care System (Dallas, TX) VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System (Harlingen, TX) West Texas VA Health Care System (Big Spring, TX) This notice of intent to award a sole source BPA is not a request for competitive proposals. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207 (c) (16) (ii), all responsible sources that feel they can fulfill requirements for brand name Olympus products and services under federal supply schedule 65 II A, special item number A-20C, A-42, A-45, and A-8A, may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the VA. Responses to this notice shall contain sufficient information to establish the interested parties bona-fide capabilities for fulfilling the requirement, and include: Dun & Bradstreet Number, and the Taxpayer Identification Number, along with documentation that the vendor is an authorized distributor/reseller. All respondents must have an active registration in the System for Award Management www.sam.gov. A determination by VA not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the VA. In addition, the information received because of this notice of intent will be retained as market research only.
