The proposed contract action is for twelve new-generation Ottobock X2 C leg prosthetics and three torsion adapters. This requirement is in support for Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington DC. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements with Otto Bock Healthcare, 2 Carlson Pkwy N Ste 100, Minneapolis, Mn 55447-4467. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
