The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Omaha, NE, VISN 23, contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with Parks Medical Electronics, Inc., 19460 SW Shaw Street, Aloha, OR 97007-1242 for the a Peripheral Vascular Doppler used in Vascular Lab to measure peripheral blood flow. The system consists of a computerized vascular lab system (FLO-LAB 2100-SX), Optional Dicom for PACS, Temp Gun (Reynaud's Exam), and a Touch Screen Monitor (17 inch). Contractors will provide descriptive literature along with their proposals. The system has the features we need for vascular lab measurement. Warranty is two years. This procurement requires brand name or equal equipment. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All proposals received by 4 p.m. Pacific Time, July 28, 2008 will be considered by the Government. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 423450 with a standard size of 100 employees. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer or by fax 402-449-0612. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
