VISN 19 is seeking sources for contractor to prepare intravenous admixture fluids for the Denver Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Medications required to admix piggyback orders shall be supplied by the participating facilities pharmacy on a consignment basis. Contractor shall provide 10% amino acids w/70% Dextrose in bags and shall include additive such as vitamins, electrolytes and insulin. Contractor shall also provide all necessary materials used in preparing admixture solutions. Mixing of TPN solutions shall be in compliance with the American Society of Hospital Practice guidlines and conducted in a class 100 or comparable clean room. The contractor shall provide quality assurance reports on a quartetly basis in compliance with JCAHO standards.
