This is a notice of the intent to conduct a sole source acquisition for a commercial item, to be awarded to the GE Medical Systems. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Description is as follows: Non-personal services. Provide all labor, travel, material, supervision, equipment, disposal, transportation, and administration necessary to perform removal of current radiological system, perform room modifications, and install new PROTEUS XR/a radiological system. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties that believe they can meet these needs must supply information about their capabilities no later than 1200 CST on 28 Oct 03. If no responses are received be the above date, a sole source contract with the GE Medical Systems will be pursued.
