The Department of Veterans Affairs, Fargo VA Medical Center, Fargo North Dakota intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302.1, with Volcano Corporation to provide an S5i Imaging system/Volcano IVUS System to the facility. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
