The Consolidated Acquisition Service, VISN 6, Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources to provide a power prone gurney equal to the Bounder B026. The Gurney will be utilized in SCI Centers for those spinal cord injury patients who are undergoing inpatient care for pressure sores which prohibit their use of a wheelchair for mobility. The Heavy Duty Power Gurney should come with a 500 lb weight capacity, 2 foam gurney cushion, high density airless drive wheel inserts, high density flat free caster tires, includes two year warranty. Interested parties should submit a price quote for these items for a quantity of 10 each to Lee C. Russell, Contracting Specialist, VISN 6, Centralized Acquisition Service, 100 Emancipation Drive, Bldg 27, Rm 109, Hampton, VA 23667 not later than 4:30pm local time September 10, 2008. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
