THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. In preparation for a future procurement, Lebanon, PA Acquisition Center is performing market research to determine potential vendors, including all types of small business (e.g. 8(a) firms, HUBZones, and small disabled veteran owned) that can offer a same or similar product to the SONOSITE S-NERVE MACHINE AND ACCESSORIES with the following description: " Features o New enhanced imaging technology utilizing algorithms that reduce speckle noise and image artifacts to give superior image quality and visualization of the needle tip. o Technology that would optimize tissue visualization via having only one method of control; Anesthesiologists cannot have multiple control methods as this procedure is very intricate and delicate and must be done with the utmost ease and one control dial/button allows this ability. o Multi-beam imaging o Advanced Needle Visualization allowing any type of needle to be used, rather than only an echogenic needle which is a very high cost item. o Enhanced color performance, sensitivity, and frame rates o Transducers and the ultrasound units themselves go through a drop test that exceeds military specifications for drop testing enhancing durability. " Performance requirement: o The units need to have a single control allowing simple operation, as to increase efficiency, accuracy, and safety o Must have the latest in tissue optimization (M-Mode/ADAPT) and HD2 Imaging Technology, as to have ideal needle tip visualization which is of the utmost importance as it relates to safety for the patient o Must have a lightweight transducer (no more than 2 lbs) as as to reduce fatigue of the providers hand as they maneuver the device for visualization accuracy " Essential physical characteristics: o 12.1" viewing screen o US units weigh no more than 8.5 lbs. o Backlit keyboard o Splash resistant, sealed silicone keyboard o Solid aluminum core and magnesium shell providing maximum durability o Mounting is Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) approved, has hydraulic height adjustment, shelf for printer or DVD, transducer holder, locking wheels, power supply, storage basket keyboard tray w/two transducer cups for each ultrasound system The contractor must furnish all products FOB destination VA Lebanon, PA.
