The NF/SG Veterans Health Care System intends to negotiate on a sole source basis for full maintenance and repair services of a Spectranetics CVX-300 Medical Laser System with The Spectranetics Corporation 9965 Federal Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80907-5186, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements. To the best of our knowledge The Spectranetics Corporation is the only company that can provide this specific service. Services to include periodic preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and emergency call back repair. The applicable NAICS is 811219. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any vendor that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within ten (10) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Cost associated with the preparation and submission of information and/or any follow-up information requests are the responsibility of the vendor and these costs will not be reimbursed by the Government.
