The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 16 is seeking Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and/or Small Business (SB) sources capable of providing the equipment as detailed in the Statement of Need below for the Central Arkansas VA Health Care System, located in 4300 W 7th St., Little Rock, AR 72205. The acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with FAR art 12 & 13.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339113. Any SDVOSB/VOSB/SB firm who wishes to identify their interests and capability to provide this service must provide interest information by notifying the Contract Administrator no later than 11:00 AM Central Standard Time, May 11, 2018. Such notification must include any documentation that includes certification to be able to provide the equipment and pertinent installation, maintenance and support during the warranty period. STATEMENT OF NEED:

Salient Characteristics:
Must provide direct visualization of bile duct and/or pancreatic duct
Must include bipolar electrohydraulic lithotripsy system generator
Must enable therapeutic endoscopist to evaluate indeterminate biliary strictures and easily recognize intraductal pathology
Must be a catheter based system for use by a single operator
Must be a 10F miniature endoscope that has a channel within it that allows for the passage of devices for tissue acquisition, stone extraction, electrohydraulic lithotripsy (EHL) probes
Must have biopsy ability with direct visualization which leads to increasing the diagnostic yield of tissue sampling from fluoroscopic guided brushing, approximately 35% sensitivity, to biopsies obtained under direct visualization, to approximately 85% sensitivity
Must have direct visualization of lithotripsy probes to allow for stone disruption and the ability to confirm complete ductal clearance of stones
Compatible with:
a. Olympus TJF series endoscopes
b. S-Video out signal will plug into PIP S-Video In port on the Olympus Camera Console
