This is NOT a solicitation announcement. The Veterans Integrated Service Network 22 Logistics Office intends to negotiate a sole source requirements contract for the delivery to patient's home compatible supplies for Peritoneal and Hemodialysis equipment that are manufactured by Baxter Healthcare Corporation, One Baxter Parkway, Deerfield, IL 60015. NAICS 423450 applies. Contract shall be in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Contract shall be for based year and four (4) one (1) year option extension period. Place of Performance shall be VA Healthcare System including San Diego, CA, San Francisco, CA, Puget Sound, WA, Albuquerque, NM and Tucson, AZ. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Response must be received no later than 3:30 PM January 30, 2008.
