Page 1 of 1 SOURCES SOUGHT: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO) is conducting Market Research on behalf of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Durham, North Carolina through this sources sought to help determine the availability of qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Small Businesses to provide annual on-site service plan for Thinprep 5000 Sample Processor, and Thinprep 2000 Sample Processor. The contractor will need to be able to adhere to the following scope for one (1) base year and four (4) 12 month options. The scope of work is to include the following parameters: 1. Unlimited on-site repairs performed by factory trained Hologic Service technicians. 2. Next business day, on-site response to a down unit (a unit that is inoperable) during normal working hours - Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Local time (Excluding Holidays). 3. Unlimited Telephone support Monday-Friday, 7:00 am 7:00 pm Eastern Time (Excluding Holidays). 4. Includes all service labor, travel, and parts costs. 5. One Preventative Maintenance performed per year. 6. Mandatory or required software upgrades/updates to be included. If the contractor can provide the above items, the contractor shall provide a letter from the manufacturer stating they are an authorized distributor for their products. Failure to submit an authorized distributor letter shall result in the product(s) potentially offered to be considered grey market and shall not be considered technically acceptable. The capability statements received from this market research are for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research.
