Solicitation
The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is seeking BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO the following: Vendor Caridian BCT; PRODUCT Fifty four (54) sterile, single-use, single-access, individually packaged collection kits consisting of plastic tubing and bags capable of collecting leukocyte-reduced concentrated blood platelets from human donors in anticoagulant citrate dextrose solution A (ACD-A) with an integrated bacterial sampling system using a Caridian BCT Trima Accel Collection System. Ninety (90) sterile, single-use, double-access, individually packaged collection kits consisting of plastic tubing and bags capable of removing white blood cells (WBCs) from human donors in anticoagulant citrate dextrose solution A (ACD-A) using a Caridian BCT Cobe Spectra Apheresis System. Partial quotes will not be accepted. Items are to be shipped directly to the Walter Reed Institute in Silver Spring, MD. This announcement constitutes the solicitation by USAMRAA, Ft Detrick, MD as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and offers must be submitted in writing (oral offers will not be accepted). The solicitation document and incorporated Provisions and Clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-22. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The SIC Code is 7352 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112. This is a best value procurement. The Government may elect to award to other than the lowest priced offeror. Award will be based on compliance with essential characteristics, past performance, and price. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial offeros received without discussions.
