The VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Trumpf Medical Systems, Inc. The proposed contract action is for a TruSystem 7000dV Operating Table and accessories. The requested TruSystem 7000dV Operating Table must be compatible with current VA owned Da Vinci Xi Surgery System due to the proprietary nature. The following medical equipment is required: TruSystem 7000 dv Operating Table Package P/N 112011 (1EA) dV SmartCare Complete 2 Years P/N 111920 (1EA) Leg Section Two Parts Spread Joint H U P/N 1739991 (1EA) Support, Foot, Two Parts P/N 1265545 (1EA) This sole source action is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no competitive solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements or provide an equal product may give written notification to the contract specialist for consideration. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed above for the requested products. Responses are due by Wednesday July 19, 2017 at 3:00 PM PST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
