North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office (NARCO) intends to competitively award a commercial Non-Personal Services contract, for Upper Extremity Prosthetic services located at the Prosthetic Lab, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. T he solicitation is restricted 100% Set Aside for Small Business concerns. NAICS Code: 339113. This requirement for Upper extremity services includes, but is not limited to, casting, designing, fabricating and fitting patients with prosthetic devices. C ontractor will provide a full range of upper prosthetic patient care, including, comprehensive evaluations, assembly and delivery of prostheses, and follow-up prosthetic care, monitoring patients progress when repetitive prosthesis changes are required an d independently modifying or adjusting the prosthesis based on the patients needs. Contractor will be required to foresee problems in a recommended prosthetic design and recommend changes after receiving the physician's prescription. Contractor must res olve most prosthetic problems through clinical assessment, examination techniques, and physician consultation prior to completing the prosthesis. Contractor shall provide management, supervision, personnel, general equipment, and reporting necessary for p erformance of outpatient prosthetic services. Types of amputations expected to be are: Shoulder Disarticulations, Above Elbow, Below Elbow, and Wrist Disarticulations.
