The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is soliciting proposals for award of multiple indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts for the purchase of childhood vaccines included under the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program, pursuant to Section 13631 of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993 (OBRA '93). CDC anticipates the award of one consolidated contract for each vaccine manufacturer to include all vaccines required by the VFC program which the manufacturer produces. The applicable VFC vaccines are: Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoid with Acelullar Pertussis (DTaP), Diptheria and Tetanus Toxoids with Acelullar Pertussis Absorbed, Hepatitis B (Recombinant), and Poliovirus Vaccine Combines (DTaP/HepB/IPV), Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoids with Acellular Pertussis combined with Haemophilus Influenza Type b (DTaP/Hib), Enhanced Inactivated Polio (E-IPV), Hepatitis A (Pediatric), Hepatitis A & B Combination(For Age 18 only), Hepatitis B (Pediatric/Adolescent) (Age 0-18), Hepatitis B - 2-dose Regimen (For Adolescents Age 11-15 only), Hepatitis B combined with Haemophilus Influenza Type b (Hep B/Hib), Haemophilus Influenza Type b (Hib), Measles, Mumps, Rubella Combination (MMR), Pneumococcal Conjugate (7 Valent), Tetanus and Diphtheria Toxoid, Varicella. Maximum estimated quantities, minimum order sizes, shelf life requirements and applicable price restrictions will be listed in the solicitation. Vaccines shall be shipped FOB Destination to the 50 states and U.S. Territories. Contracts shall be for a twelve month period beginning on or about 04/01/2005. Offerors must provide evidence of a current FDA establishment license and evidence of current FDA product licenses for all proposed products and must meet the definition of a "manufacturer" as stipulated by OBRA '93.
