The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii). The proposed source is Cyberonics, Inc, Houston Tx. The item being procured is a Vagus Nerve Stimulator and accessories. This notice is being published for information purposes only and is not a request for competitivequotations; however, any quotations received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
