This procurement is based on the determination that the government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by the procurement of the Erbe Argon Plasma Coagulation Unit due to it's superior quality and many technological features that are proprietary to Erbe, of who Life Systems Inc. is the Midwest distributor. Other persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement by July 21, 2004. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their qualifications/capabilities by submitting literature and documentation, detailing their experience in providing these products, to the Contracting Officer or by facsimile to (513) 475-6334. Such qualifications/capabilities will be perused solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
