The US Army Medical Command Southeast Region has a requirement for 4 cases Virtusaph Endoscopic Vein Harvesting System for Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, Georgia. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2) and FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and Compelling Urgency. The suggested contractor is Terumo Cardiovascualr Systems Inc, 6200 Jackson Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48103-9586.
4 cases Virtusaph Endoscopic Vein Harvesting System, sterile (includes dissector, harvester and trocar), catalog #: MCVS550. Harvester rod must have a V-keeper, V-lock and a V-cutter. Disector rod must have an atraumatic conical tip, centering rings and CO2 delivered at the tip. This item must be compatiable with a VirtuoSaph EVH System.
This is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. However, companies that can provide an equal or like product must submit their technical capabilities to include technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price and delivery time within seven (7) calendar day from the date of publication of this notice. This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives from Eisenhower Army Medical Center for consideration for future requirements. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
