INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 15 Contracting Office intends to award a contract sole-source basis under the statutory authority permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements to W.L. Gore and Associates, 1500 N. 4th Street, Flagstaff, Arizona 86001. The requirement is for: 2 each, Gore Viabahnâ„¢ Endoprosthesis Stent, 6mm x 5cm x .018; 2 each, Gore Viabahnâ„¢ Endoprosthesis Stent, 8mm x 5cm x .018; 2 each, Gore Viabahn â„¢Endoprosthesis Stent, 9mm x 5cm x .035; 2 each, Gore Viabahn â„¢Endoprosthesis Stent, 10mm x 5cm x .035; 2 each, Gore Viabahn â„¢Endoprosthesis Stent, 7mm x 5cm, x .018; This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government in the future. Interested parties may identify their capabilities by responding to this requirement, no later than 4:30 pm CDT, 12 September 2014. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's bona fide capability to provide these items.
