The Department of Veterans Affairs Mid Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6) intends to contract with PROAIM Americas, LLC, dba PROAIM Medical for the procurement of one Zeiss O/S Visulas Trion Combi with Table, Accento Eyepiece and FS+ (2660022-1130-998), and for Zeiss MS OPMIA Microscope Body for the Health Care Center (HCC) in Charlotte, NC, which is opening in April of 2016. The Zeiss O/S Visulas Trion Combi and Microscope Body are to be used in the new Ophthalmology Department. Delivery is to be made to the Charlotte HCC in Charlotte, NC. The proposed contract is for equipment for which the government intends to contract on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than NOON 3/30/2016, Eastern Time. Interested parties must submit all technical information required to make a determination that the proposed units meet or exceed the specifications of the above referenced unit. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
