Market research was conducted and determined that CareFusion is the only vendor capable of providing supplies & service necessary that meet the requirements. STATEMENT OF WORK TEMPLATE PFT Body Box VA Castle Point Campus Background: The current PFT units are old and are past their manufacturer s recommended replacement date. There are no servers connected to the units and patient data is no longer transmitted into VistA and CPRS. Biomed and IRM department have not been able to resolve the issue. Therefore, testing must be printed out and scanned into the patient medical record. This is causing a delay in patient tests being read and downloaded into the medical record. The PFT machines were purchased last year for Castle Point and Montrose, but we did not purchase the required body boxes to go along with it.
