The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. MicroMed LLC, 8730 Commerce Park Place, Suite E, Indianapolis, IN 46268, will provide ten (10) Fujifilm CMOS Standard Colonoscopes, EC-600HL. The requirement uses a Brand Name or Equal Description of the product required. This permits perspective Contractors to offer products other than those specifically referenced by brand name. All offers must work with existing equipment that has already been purchased and is currently in use at the station. The Colonoscopes shall meet the following minimum characteristics: Must be compatible with currently owned Fujinon EPX4400 Digital Video Processor Minimum 12.8mm flexible portion diameter Minimum 4.2mm forceps channel diameter Minimum 170º field of view Minimum 1690mm working length. Minimum Angulation specifications of 180º/180º (up/down) and 160º/160º (left/right) HDTV Compatible Minimum of 60 FPS video Optional/Value Added Features: Cleaning Accessories Included The place of performance is for the St. Louis VA Health Care System, John Cochran Division. The St. Louis VA Health Care System is located at 915 North Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63106. The NAICS code is 339112 with a size standard of $1,000. The announcement number is 36C25520Q0430. This action will result in a firm-fixed price contract. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT 9 June 2020 at 4:30 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required supply. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to announcement 36C25520Q0430, Notice of Intent. If after 9 June 2020, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with MicroMed LLC.
