STATEMENT OF WORK EDWARD LIFESCIENCES HEMOSPHERE Brand Name Only PURPOSE The Martinsburg VA Medical Center requires the replacement of their hemodynamic advanced monitoring unit. This unit is used in the intensive care unit (ICU) for critically ill patients to guide the use of vasoactive medications, resuscitation efforts and intra/post operatively for complex vascular surgeries. Procuring this device will help increase patient recovery from surgeries. HOURS OF OPERATION Normal hours of coverage are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Central Standard Time excluding national holidays. All services shall be performed during normal hours unless otherwise scheduled with the COTR or his/her designee. Contractor shall always be professional and shall take all necessary precautions to maintain a safe environment for the occupants. Contractor shall fully minimize noise possible while working in all buildings. Note: Hardware/software update/upgrade installations, where applicable, will be scheduled and performed outside normal hours of coverage at no additional charge to the Government (unless it would be detrimental to equipment up-time; to be determined by the COTR). After contacting COR (or COR designee) at the VA, a specific time will be scheduled for the delivery of the product and the installation within 60 days of award.
