B.3 STATEMENT OF WORK
Background Information
We are requesting the purchase of qty 4 each Rimage DD DICOM 2450 CD/DVD Stations. This Equipment will be placed at VHSO Fayetteville, Branson, and Fort Smith Radiology Departments giving the clinics the capability to import/export CDs with veteran radiology exams copied on them. This will ensure continuity of care for the veterans throughout their treatment process. The current CD/DVD Burners are beyond economical repair and are at end of lifecycle. The Rimage DD Dicom 2450 with Sorna Vertex Software has been the only approved software by the VA TRM program. No other type of software will be allowed.
Scope
The VHSO Fayetteville Radiology Service will become more efficient via this CD burning/importing system. The ability to import/export exams is an essential part of the treatment process and continuity of care.
