This is a sources sought announcement to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. The Air Force Metrology Calibration Detachment is considering a purchase of 10 Watt Visible Wavelength Laser. The anticipated quantity is one (1) each of 10 Watt Visible Wavelength Laser. This item is a continuous wave, diode pumped, visible wavelength laser with a power range of up to 10 watts. The laser will be used to calibrate laser power and energy meters. Offerors responding to this sources sought market research must (1) state whether they are a small or large business. (2) indicate if they are a small disadvantaged or woman-owned business, 8(a) firm, or a historically black college or university or minority institution (HBCU/MI), or a historically underutilized business zone (HUBZone) small business; (3) provide information concerning the technical capabilities of the product you are interested in offering, including commercial literature/brochures. (4) any other pertinent information which would enable the government to assess your firm's capabilities.
