The DFEM department has a requirement to purchase an advanced microscope system with the state-of-art micro-scope for imaging surface as well as contours to support teaching and research mission at the Academy. This will find extensive use in cadet?s materials and metallurgical failure analysis in EM340 and EM460 courses.
