NAICS Code: 334513 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is a re-solicitation of the requirement originally posted as solicitation number RFQ-RT-07-00032. This current solicitation number is RFQ-RT-07-00062. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-13. The associated North Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334513 and the business size standard is 500 employees. Full and open competition procedures will be utilized. A firm, fixed price purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures is anticipated to result from the award of this solicitation. This procurement is for the acquisition of an Ambient Particulate Monitor. Offerors should review the complete critical specifications listing posted with this Request for Quotation on EPA's website at the following address: http://www.epa.gov/oamrtpnc/q0700062. The monitor shall be delivered f.o.b. Destination to Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, 27703. The Government intends to award a single order to the lowest price quote that meets all Government specifications. Quotations must include sufficient material (such as narrative technical specifications, photos, brochures, etc.) to permit the government to determine that the proposed monitor will meet the EPA's critical specifications. Any specific variances from the specifications shall be addressed by the vendor with respect to how the vendor=s proposal provides alternative equivalence. The Government reserves the right to require additional pricing information, if necessary, to determine that the proposed price is reasonable.
