NASA/GRC has a requirement for an ARAMIS Version 6 Analysis Software, ImageProcessing Workstation, 22" flat screen monitor and shock mounted rack case for computerand sensor controller.NASA/GRC intends to purchase the items from Trilion Quality Systems, Plymouth Meeting,PA. ARAMIS systems are comprised of fully integrated hardware and software components andare sold exclusively through Trilion Quality Systems. The ARAMIS computer system must befully integrated and compatible with all NASA GRC's existing Aramis systems, thereforeAramis is the only source that will satisfy Agency needs.The sole source is under the authority of FAR reference 13.106-1(b)(1), only oneresponsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements.This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FARPart 13.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30p.m. local timeon July 5, 2011. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.
