The Government intends to negotiate a sole source, Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Nuaire, Inc for 2 ea Biological Safety Cabinets, 115V/60Hz electrical configuration, P/N NU-425-600, 6? Class II, Type A2; 2 ea UV Light, P/N 6E34; 2 ea Base Stand 30 inches to work surface, P/N NU-400-105; 2 ea Biological Safety Cabinets, 230V/50Hz electrical configuration, P/N NU-425-400E, 4? Class II, Type A2; 2 ea UV light, P/N 4E21; 2 ea Base Stand, 30 inches to work surface, P/N NU-400-104; 3 ea Biological Safety Cabinets, 230V/50Hz electrical configuration, 6? Class II, Type A2, P/N NU-425-600E; 3 ea UV Light, P/N 6E21; and 3 ea Base Stand, 30 inches to work surface, P/N NU-400-105, as required by US Naval Medical Research Unit No. 3, Cairo, Egypt. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 29 August 2007 by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: https://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The size standard is 500 employees and the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339111. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
