Chilled Mirror Hygrometer This request for information/sources sought announcement is issued to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. The Air Force Metrology and Calibration Program is considering a purchase of a Chilled Mirror Hygrometer. Two precision Dew Point Mirrors, also known as Chilled Mirror Hygrometers, will be procured to enable the Air Force Metrology Calibration (AFMETCAL) Program to develop and implement proficiency testing for Humidity calibrations. All Air Force Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratories (PMELs) presently utilize the Thunder Scientific model 2500S Humidity Gemerator as a working standard to calibrate and certify a variety of temperature and humidity measuring devices. One Chilled Mirror Hygrometer will stay at the AFPSL, and the other Chilled Mirror Hygrometer will be sent to the different PMELs for intercomparison of measurements among PMELa and with the AFPSL. These Chilled Mirror Hygrometers shall cover a temperature range of -30 to 60 degrees Celsius, a Relative Humidity range of 0.5% to 100% at a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, and a Dew-Frost Point accuracy of +/- 0.1 degree Celsius with a repeatability of +/- 0.05 degree Celsius.
