It is the Government's intention to negotiation on a Sole Source basis with Ciphergen Biosystems, Inc., 6611 Dumbarton Circle, Freemont, CA 94555 for the purchase of ââ¬â (1) 68 packages of P/N C553-007, CM10 ProteinChip Array, Configuration A-H, (12/package) with the following features: 1) CM10 ProteinChip Arrays mimic weak cation exchange chromatography with carboxylate functionality, 2) must have similar functionality to the WCX2 array but with an updated hydrophobic barrier coating, 3) 16 spot arrays with 2mm diameter spots spatially compatible with one column of a standard 384-well microplate (2.5 mm well pitch) and 4) must include protein profiling and protein purification. (2) Six (6) kits - P/N K100-0007 Expression Difference Mapping Kit-Serum Fractionation, to include: 1) A complete package of reagents for fractionating proteins in serum, 2) allowance for high throughput fractionation by using anion exchange beads pre-filled in a 96-well microplate format, 3) design to run up to 96 samples, 3) contain the microplate pre-filled with Q Ceramic HyperD F sorbent, 4) buffers for rehydration of the sorbent, 4) sample preparation and washing steps along with a step-by-step protocol.
