The 316th Contracting Squadron, Andrews Air Force Base intends to award a sole source contract with Diagnostica Stage Inc, 5 Century Dr STE 1, Parsippany, NJ 07054-460 using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii) and FAR 8.402. This requirement is for a laboratory cost per-test reagent contract for two (2) coagulation analyzers to include 24 hours, 7days a week emergency routine maintenance service. The resulting contract will be firm fixed price using other than full and open competition procedures; interested persons may identify heir interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all proposals received within two (2) days after publication of this synopsis. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in proposal preparation. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency.
