NASA/GSFC has a requirement for the following items: (1) Digital Signal Boards Qty. 2 EA. Octal TS201 6U cPCI board, populated with Virtex Pro (30/6) and 256MB SDRAM per cluster. Part number is T26U-0U-4450-306-1177. (2) Digital Signal Boards Qty. 2 EA. Quad TS201 PMC+ Board, populated with Virtex II Pro (30/6)and 256MB SDRAM. Part number is T2PM-450-306-117. NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from BittWare, Inc. They are the developer of this product and the only provider of these items. The Authority is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. The government does intend to acquire the non commercial items using Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to Raymond Jones, NASA Goddard Spaceflight Center Mail Code 210.3, Greenbelt, Maryland 20771 not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on March 15, 2005. Interested Parties need to address their ability to fill the line items listed above. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
