THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Department of Veterans' Affairs, James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital (JAHVH) located in Tampa, FL intends to solicit and negotiate a contract for VIALS with eBioscience on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government needs name-brand items to meet its requirements. eBioscience open market items shall include Human cellular antigens: CD2, CD3, CD14, CD19, CD 38, and CD45; and FITC and PE Mouse Isotype controls. The contractor shall be responsible for shipping all items to the JAHVH. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received by 12 p.m. EST, 30 September 2008, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
