The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Kongsberg Underwater Technology, Inc., Lynnwood, WA, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for upgrade of EM3000 Multibeam Echo Sounders, developed and manufactured by Kongsberg Underwater Technology, Inc. This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The resulting contract will be firm fixed-price.
