The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contract shall provide 1 Each, EOD-NGH-SD (INDENTIFINDER EOD KIT). Brand Name is Mandatory. Manufacturer: ICX TECHNOLOGIES INC,Washington, DC 20005-3305. Telephone: (202) 536-5694. Wt: 2.75lbs, Dim: 9.8"x3.7"x3", Temp Range: -20 to 55 deg c (-4 to 122 deg F). Distinguishes man-made and natural isotopes. Each Kit contains: Two each model, indentiF NGH, 1 each calibrated Nal (TI) detector as spare. Two sets of accessories (cables, chargers, etc.) in carrying case with source kit. The contractor shall provide this item to Commanding Officer, NESCOM 108 Sanda Ave Bldg 564, Williamsburg, VA 23185. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about August 07, 2007 by downloading the documents at the NECO website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 334511. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer.
