Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for procurement of TLD-100 EXTRAD Extremity Dosimeter from Thermo Fisher Scientific, One Thermo Fisher Way, Oakwood Village, OH 44146. The TLD-100?s are utilized by the AFIOH/SDRD Radiation Dosimetry Laboratory to satisfy mission requirements. The 311 Human Systems Wing/PKBA intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because existing operational equipment (Thermo Fisher 6600 Series TLD Reader/Irradiator) is the only type equipment specifically authorized by manufacturer for use with TLD-100.
