The US Department of Agriculture, Agriculture Research Service in Palmer, AK has a need for a commercially available Flow Cytometer to measure DNA content and ploidy in plant cells. The Partec PA-11 ploidy analyzer meets our needs and consists of the following: 14-01-2001 Partec PA-11 Flow Cytometer & cell particle counter, includes 20mW Air-cooled Argon Laser, 100UV HBO Lamp, 2 parameters, computer & software for data acquisition & analysis with installation & training. Accessories consist of Partec Robby auto loader system, 1 yr Prevention Basic Service Agreement, CellTrics, Test Tubes Plastics 3.5ml, in-line filters for shealth fluid 0.2 microns, cleaning solution for flow system, decontamination liquid, CyStain UV Precise P & T, PI absolute P, DNA control UV & PI. The USDA will consider other Flow Cytometerââ¬â¢s which can measure DNA content and ploidy in plant cells and meet or exceed the characteristics of the Partec PA-11 and accessories.
