The National Data Buoy Center intends to negotiate only with Rotronic Instrument Corporation of Lawrenceville, GA for 40 each Rotronics MP100/101 series humidity probes. NDBC uses the probes as the main sensing element in the NDBC humidity sensor assembly currently in use on post PSOS, CMAN and buoy stations. The specifications of the probe: Rotronic MP101A-C4 Humidity Probes with NDBC upgrade output: 0-1 VDC = 0 to 100% RH & 0-1 VDC = -40 to 60 deg. C, 1 meter attached pigtail cable without connector, stainless steel set screws & hardware, silicon grease coated O-rings, conformal coated PC board, MF25MP full length Teflon/foam moisture resistant filters, internal desciccant pack, and 1 year standard warranty.
