ILS/VOR Signal Calibrator This request for information/sources sought announcement is issued to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. The Air Force Metrology and Calibration Program is considering a purchase of a ILS/VOR Signal Calibrator. The ILS/VOR Signal Calibrator is to be a multi-function generator and analyzer of AM, FM, ILS and VOR signals. The ILS/VOR Signal Calibrator will be used by the Air Force Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratories (PMEL) as a calibration standard of ILS/VOR Test Sets. The ILS/VOR Signal Calibrator modulation analyzer functions shall be used as a primary support of measurements throughout ILS/VOR navigation system testing. The AM, FM, ILS, and VOR modulation measurements shall be made with extremely low error and the specifications are to reflect the lowest possible measurement errors. The ILS/VOR Signal Calibrator shall provide signal frequencies between 9 kHz to 1150 MHz and signal amplitudes of -140 dBm to + 13 dBm. The total estimated quantity is 74 Unit(s). Surplus or used material is not acceptable for this item.
