Notification is provided of the intention of the US Army, Engineer R & D Center (ERDC), Cold Regions R & E Laboratory (CRREL) to issue a sole source award for a firm fixed-price simplified acquisition purchase order to Chaparral Physics, University o f Alaska, Fairbanks under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Contractor to provide Model 2.5, infrasound sensor, 9 to 18 volts DC power option, and a 4-port inlet manifold on bottom. Each sensor will have a 4 acoustic inlet, male garden-hose-thread conn ector, and will be supplied with a mating electrical connector. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement on the full and open competition basis is solely within the discretion of the government.
