This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as a request for quotation. Submit offers on RML-RFQ # 7031. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 dated 8/4/06. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339111 and the small business size is 500. The Rocky Mountain Laboratories is seeking an 8A, Hubzone, Service Disabled Veteran or Small Business to provide an Inhalation Exposure System.. The Inhalation Exposure System must include stainless steel wire mesh basket with lid divided into not less than 5 compartments which must accommodate not less than 100 mice, 5 rabbits or 15 guinea pigs. The system must have programmable controls which regulate all cycles. The system must pass exhausted air through a filtering unit which will filter particles as small as .3 micron. The Inhalation Exposure system must contain a nebulizer to atomize the suspension under pressure and deliver it, in the correct mixture, to the chamber. Vendor must include warranty information, installation and initial training. FOB point shall be Destination, Hamilton, MT. Inside delivery shall be not more than 90 days after receipt of order. Delivery location is Rocky Mountain Laboratories, 903 S 4th St, Hamilton, MT 59840.
