The Department of Veterans Affairs, San Francisco VA Health Care System, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, with Inscopix for the nVoke Integrated Imaging and Optogenetics System for Rodents. This is a platform for simultaneous or sequential visualization of large-scale neural circuit dynamics and optogenetic manipulation in the same FOV with a miniature microscope with optogenetic capability, data acquisition box, and nVoke acquisition software. Inscopix is the only vendor capable of providing the specialized miniature microscopes for specific recording sites of the brain which is a requirement for this VA research. This is a notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Thursday, April 25th, 4:00, EST.
